I grew up in Fairlawn, Virginia, raised by strong women who taught me resilience, faith, and the value of hard work. Though life wasn\u2019t always easy, I had a loving foundation that carried me through tough times, especially after losing my mother, Ms. Donna Hodge, who inspired my passion for healthcare. I became a CNA in high school and started working in the field in I continued my education to earn my Phlebotomy and CCMA certifications. Throughout my training, I faced major struggles\u2014raising my daughter alone, working PRN jobs, and commuting without reliable
transportation\u2014but I never gave up. Nursing has always been my calling, and with God\u2019s guidance and the incredible support of the NRMR Workforce Development Board, especially Marjorie, I\u2019ve stayed the course. Their belief in me gave me the strength to push forward, and I\u2019m determined to create a better life for my daughter while fulfilling my purpose in healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
